The Dedication
Sophia’s Sanctuary was envisioned and held in the hearts of Russell and Linda Delman for over thirty years. It was built in 2009 and dedicated on January 2nd, 2010 in order to align with the dedication of a new Sophia Foundation group in Melbourne, Australia..
Karen Rivers, co-founder of the Sophia Foundation led a special celebration to dedicate the new building. Forty-eight people who carry the values of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness as a living intention in their hearts were in attendance. Together we blessed this new building and dedicated it to Wisdom, Sophia, the mother of everything living. We are deeply grateful to one member in particular, Taylor Lampson for the indefinite loan of a concert grand piano, which has filled the hall with love.
Sophia's Sanctuary is a vessel for a spiritual impulse that strives to live the virtues of true wisdom, that of heart thinking and to meet the need's of the community.
